Friday Dec 19

Last day of school before the break. Don't forget to take home everything you need for the break and anything disposable in your lockers.

Spirit Day - wear festive clothing

Health - working on your PSA
Math - continue to work on your Transformations project

Geography 8's - will start working on your geography projects

Potluck at lunch (both classes) - don't forget everything purchased needs to be labeled nut free and anything made needs to include the list of ingredients.

After lunch - stack all desks in the hallway and then assembly.

Homework:- Dec 18 - Jan 5

Literacy: Read for 30 minutes, work on creating "Think Marks". For leisure write a story about any topic you want. Try to incorporate different thematic themes and story telling devices.
Math: practice your math by playing Prodigy Games. I want you to explore and think about different patterns around you. We will be starting patterning the first week back.
Health: I want you over the break to keep a food log of everything you are eating on a daily basis. It will help increase your understanding of healthy eating.
Geography: if you choose to, do some research for your geography project. The more you do, the easier it will be for you when you come back over the break. Remember document everything and I want you to find primary and secondary sources.
Drama: brainstorm ideas for what you want to do in silent movie.
Most important!: take it easy and enjoy your break!
